Choirs

Interested in joining the Otterbein choirs? Fill out this online form.

The choral and vocal program at Otterbein has a long and distinguished tradition, reaching back as far as 1858. Today Otterbein has seven vocal ensembles performing a wide variety of repertoire, from Brahms to Duke Ellington.

Otterbein’s choirs combine regularly to perform choral masterworks in conjunction with the Westerville Symphony. In addition, Otterbein choirs have performed frequently with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, and appear regularly at professional conferences of the Ohio Music Education Association and the American Choral Directors Assocation. The choirs are open to all members of the Otterbein community. Students audition for choral placement.
